Helping Our Earth
Water Everywhere
Do you know that some people use too much water a day. An average American family uses more than 300 gallons of water every single day! We need water for everything we build. Some states and countries have a water shortage because of this. Read along to find out ways to conserve and save water.
Saving Water
Some ways I save water is by turning off the faucet when I'm not using it. Also taking shorter showers like for six or seven minutes. You could also conserve water by doing this.
Taking a bin and putting several more outside then let it rain. Once the rain is done, look inside the bin. It will be filled with water. Take the bins inside and use this water to do things. An example of how to use this water is to water plants .This would help our earth more than 25% for recycling water.
Also you are being a Citizen Scientist while doing this. By the way, do you know what a Citizen Scientist is? Let me tell you. Citizen is a person who belongs to a country. Scientists are people who study interesting things. But when you are Citizen Scientist you are helping our Earth. One thing a Citizen Scientist would do is recycle things that is supposed to be recycled and not use plastic bags.
That wraps up our topic about Citizen Scientist and conserving water.
